Blaire and his son Braden joined us from Virginia, USA for a week of hunting and even some golf.
Day one started off amazingly well as we got onto a fine impala ram for Braden and then with not much light left Blaire managed to double up with another trophy ram!
As with most safaris, the main aim was a good Eastern Cape kudu and we were at it every day.
Blaire got a good gemsbuck bull late on the third day and Braden a nice warthog but still we didn’t get onto any good kudu.
We started wandering if we were ever going to connect when late on the second last afternoon they connected.
Braden took his time and made a perfect heart shot on a fine east cape bull.
We were lucky enough to capture the moment on video as well, which made the moment even more special.
We finished off the safari with a round of golf at the spectacular Port Alfred golf club where we enjoyed putting amongst the blesbuck and impala.
