Chris arrived with a sable and nyala on his mind and early on day two we got onto a majestic black sable bull at about 200 yards.
The first shot was slightly low and knowing that these animals can become very sly when wounded we tried to finish the job quickly.

Another two good shots and Chris had a wonderful trophy.
Nyala
The following days were spent hunting blue wildebeest, nyala and zebra.
White Blesbuck
We even managed to get a good quality white blesbuck!
A short and sweet trip to the Karoo, an area Chris has never been to, and we were back in camp relaxing the last few days and even had Chris driving us around the reserve for a couple days!
We are already planning 2025 and look forward to putting together another epic trip for this soft spoken New York Stater!
