Jarrod and Jackson joined us from Montana, USA for a 7 day Safari in early June.
After a quick drive from Port Elizabeth airport we wasted no time in getting settled into our tented lodge deep in the heart of the Fish River Valley, an area renowned for great quality animals.
Impala Ram
Our first day didn't disappoint and before lunch Jackson had his first African animal in the salt. A beautiful Impala.
Blesbuck Ram
Later that day he added a Blesbuck ram to his quickly growing trophy room.
Kudu Bull
The following day was dad Jarrod’s turn with a super Eastern Cape Kudu bull.
Waterbuck Bull
Jackson added a Warthog to their list before we headed off to our next concession 80km north where we would be very fortunate in being able to connect with a Waterbuck bull, a Nyala bull, an ancient Gemsbuck bull and right at the end a splendid old warthog boar.

We finished off our trip with a very informative boat charter around the Port Elizabeth bay and a quick trip to Addo National Park where we were lucky to see a huge male lion and numerous Elephants, Buffalo and other plains game.
